Happy New Year!

What a year two thousand and eight has been for me. In some ways relatively peaceful and uneventful compared to years past, but personally, emotionally and relationship-ly it has been a year of learning and growth, as every year should be. I am happy to report that this is the first year in many years that my auto-immune disease has not affected my life in some significant way, which makes me thankful beyond belief.
I love the idea of the New Year, a time to make a clean slate, start fresh and anew, my mind races with new projects to accomplish, renewed energy where it was once lost and an all around optimism boost that we can all use on occasion.
to be cont'd...
